Your part in the ongoing success of our business in supporting key frontline services in the IT Support directorate will see you responsible for a variety of work.

Key Accountabilities will include:

  • Provide technical support for a fleet of assets including desktops, laptops, printers, MFDs, mobile devices, servers, on-site network equipment and technology assets.- Monitor ITSM tool queues and action technical activities as delegated, escalate issues, and maintain customer communications regarding the progress of jobs.- Provide technical advice and specifications in broader project work and assist in solutions design and implementation for state wide ICT projects.- Assist in the development of technical documentation for end users and technical support colleagues throughout the state.- Liaise with managers, internal and external IT teams and proactively identify IT requirements and develop local strategies to optimise the use of available information technologies.- Provide high quality advice and assistance to QPS and our customer agencies in the procurement of ICT equipment.
